Our tea ceremony plan was purchased as a gift to colleagues!
The guest today, an expat in Japan, purchased our plan to welcome her colleagues visiting from Chicago. She wanted to give them the best experience possible as their visit here was the first time. We felt honored that she chose our plan for such purpose.
They requested for a thorough tea ceremony experience with an attention to detail just any Japanese students would get.
We were very impressed by their keen observations, insightful questions, and how quickly they picked up the essence of the principle.
They said they were able to grasp the spirit of “wa-kei-sei-jaku (harmony, respect, purity and tranquility)” through the experience and had a great time.
It had been a productive time for the staff as well.
