Our workshop on making Japanese sweets has been rated high by the guests due to its authentic style. This summer season, guests can choose two themes from fireworks, rose, sunflower or Nadeshiko (a Pink). The instructor will walk you through step by step to create these beautiful pieces.   We welcomed a siblings group from Australia yesterday at our “Wagashi making with Uji matcha tea” workshop. They made jokes on each other but they get along so well. Such a wonderful team! We ended up with lots of laughs and sticky doughs on their hands! They seem to have enjoyed making wagashi especially the peony bud on which they sprinkled dry mochi powder mimicking snow. We welcomed very wonderful guests who came from Bangkok, Thailand in our tour “Enjoy Wagashi Making with Uji Matcha Tea in Tokyo” today. They are a married couple. They are aiming to provide Wagashi (Japanese sweets) at their Japanese restaurant in Bangkok. So, we provided information to buy ingredients and cooking utensils in addition to a Wagashi lesson.
